Round three Feature Match puts Sebastien Gonzalez against Kenneth Jacobs. Both players are 2-0 right now in the tournament and the winner would have a strong shot at Top 16.
Kenneth rolled a 6 while Sebastien rolled 4. Kenneth started the first duel.
He drew his six cards and started with setting a Monster. Then he set four Spells or Traps and ended his turn.

Sebastien drew his sixth card and opened by setting a Spell/Trap, then he ended.
Kenneth drew and summoned Blackwing – Bora the Spear which got hit by Torrential Tribute. Starlight Road was chained and Kenneth Special Summoned Stardust Dragon.

He flipped his Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor face-up and attacked with Vayu. Then he attacked with Blackwing – Bora the Spear and finally with Stardust Dragon. On the last attack Sebastien Special Summoned Gorz the Emmisiary of Darkness and a 2500 attack token.
Kenneth ended his turn. Sebastien drew and activated Cold Wave. That put Kenneth at a tough decision to make. He finally decided to chain Solemn Judgment and negate the Cold Wave.
Sebastien then shifted his Gorz and Token to attack position and tried to attack. Kenneth however flipped up Mirror Force and both monsters were destroyed. Then Sebastien set two Spells or Traps and ended his turn.

Kenneth drew and Summoned Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame. he then attacked with Stardust Dragon and Sebastien responded with Call of the Haunted on Gorz the Emmisiary of Darkness. When Gorz was Special Summoned Kenneth activated Bottomless Trap Hole and Sebastien chained Solemn Judgment to keep him in the game.
Then Kenneth shifted his Vayu and Bora to defense position and ended his turn.

Sebastien drew to three cards in hand. He summoned XX-Saber Fullhelmknight. Then Gorz attacked Stardust Dragon and Fullhelmknight attacked Bora. He then ended his turn.
Kenneth drew and Summmoned Blackwing – Blizzard the Far North, which got back Bora. He synchro’d them for Goyo Guardian. Shura attacked the Fullhelmknight which got negated and then Goyo attacked Gorz. Kenneth took Gorz and ended his turn.
This was a terrible mistake from Kenneth who just could’ve attacked Fullhelmknight with Goyo to win the first game.

Sebastien drew and summoned XX-Saber Darksoul to synchro for Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. He then discarded Summoner Monk to get Gorz back to his hand. Then he discard the Gorz to bounce Goyo Guardian back to the Extra Deck.
Then he discard his last card in hand, Fullhelmknight, to bounce his Call of the Haunted, and set it once again!

He attacked the Shura with his Brionac and ended, getting Ragigura in the End Phase, thanks to his XX-Saber Darksoul.
Kenneth drew to 2 cards in his hand and played Mind Control to take Brionac. He tried to attack but couldn’t because of Mind Control. He then discard Sirocco to bounce Brionac back into the Extra Deck and ended with no cards in hand anymore.

Sebastien drew Rescue Cat and that got him two X-Saber Airbellum. He then activated Call of the Haunted on Fullhelmknight. Fullhelmknight attacked Vayu and Special Summoned another Fullhelmknight. Both Airbellums and Fullhelmknight attacked directly to end the first game!
An unfortunate misplay from Kenneth gave him away the first game!

Both players dove into their sidedecks.

Kenneth decided to go first into the second game. He drew his cards and started by playing Black Whirlwind and summoned Blackwing – Bora the Spear. Whirlwind got him Blackwing – Kalut the Moon Shadow. He then activated Cards for Black Feathers, removing another Bora and drawing two cards. He then set 1 face down Spell or Trap and ended his turn.
Sebastien drew and summoned XX-Saber Boggart Knight, which special Summoned Fullhelmknight. He then Special Summoned XX-Saber Faultroll which was removed by Bottomless Trap Hole. Boggart Knight attacked Bora – the Spear and Kenneth discarded Kalut to destroy the Boggart Knight. Fullhelmknight then attacked Bora the Spear and Sebastien activated Book of Moon to destroy it. He then Special Summoned the Boggart Knight which was destroyed earlier and attacked with it. Then he ended his turn.
Kenneth started his turn by summoning Blackwing – Blizzard the Far North getting Blackwing – Breeze the Zephyr from the Deck, Special Summoning it. He also Special Summoned Bora with Blizzards effect. He Special Summoned Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind from his hand. Then he synchro’d Bora and Breeze for Blackwing Armor Master. Gale halved Boggart Knight’s attack and Armor Master attacked Fullhelmknight, which got negated. Gale then attacked Boggart Knight and destroyed it. Then he set a Spell or Trap and ended his turn.
Sebastien drew and summoned XX-Saber Boggart Knight. He activated Boggart Knight’s effect and Special Summoned Airbellum. Kenneth activated Icarus Attack tributing Blizzard to destroy Boggart Knight and Fullhelmknight. Airbellum then attacked Gale, then ending his turn.

Kenneth drew and attacked the Airbellum with his Armor Master. he then set a Monster and a Spell/Trap, ending his turn. Sebastien drew Heavy Storm and immediatly activated it, destroying Icarus Attack and Black Whirlwind.
Kenneth drew, flipped his Blackwing – Vayu the Turbo and attacked with Vayu and Armor Master. He then set a Spell or Trap and ended his turn. On Sebastien’s turn he set a Monster and a Spell or Trap.

Kenneth drew again and attacked Darksoul with his Armor Master, Vayu attacked directly. In his End Phase Sebastien searched for XX-Saber Emmersblade. Sebastien drew and set his freshly drawn Spell/Trap and Emmersblade. Kenneth drew and Armor Master attacked Emmersblade, which Special Summoned another one from his deck. He then set another Spell/Trap before ending his turn.
Sebastien drew and set another monster. Kenneth was up again and activated Cards from Black Feathers, removing his last Bora and drawing two cards. Armor Master then attacked Emmersblade and Sebastien Special Summoned Darksoul from his deck. Vayu then attacked Darksoul and in the End Phase Sbeastien searched his deck for XX-Saber Faultroll. He drew Torrential Tribute in his Draw Phase and set it to end his turn.
In the End Phase Kenneth activated Icarus Attack, tributing Vayu but then got negated by Sebastien’s Solemn Judgment. Kenneth drew for his turn and attacked Sebastien’s Face-Down Emmersblade which got him XX-Saber Ragigura, which got him X-Saber Airbellum. Kenneth ended. Sebastien drew and then Summoned X-Saber Airbellum and XX Saber Faultroll. Faultroll got him XX-Saber Darksoul and Kenneth responded by turning X-Saber Airbellum face down with Book of Moon. Sebastien ended his turn.
Kenneth drew to four cards and his Armor Master attacked X Saber Airbellum. He then ended his turn. Sebastien drew and got back Airbellum with Faultroll. Kenneth responded with Bottomless Trap Hole on it and Sebastien let it go. He then set a Monster and a backrow and ended his turn. On Kenneths turn Armor Master attacked which got hit by Sebastien’s Enemy Controller, putting it in defense. On Sebastiens turn Faultroll got him Fullhelmknight and the field got cleared by Kenneths Torrential Tribute. In the End Phase Sebastien searched his deck for XX-Saber Fullhelmknight and XX-Saber Faultroll from his two XX-Saber Darksoul.
Kenneth drew and ended his turn. Sebastien drew and overtime was called. He summoned XX-Saber Fullhelmknight and attacked, leaving Kenneth to summon Gorz the Emmisiary of Darkness. He then ended his turn. Kenneth drew and activated Black Whirlwind. He then tributed his Token for Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn and Sebastien responded with Bottomless Trap Hole. Then Gorz attacked the Fullhelmknight but Sebastien negated the attack with Fullhelmknight’s effect. He then ended his turn. Sebastien drew and set another card to his backrow.

Kenneth drew for his last turn and played Mystical Space Typhoon on Sebastien’s Trap Stun. He then Mind Controlled Fullhelmknight and tributed his Gorz for Sirocco which got turned face-down by Sebastien’s Book of moon. Kenneth had no options left and scooped his cards up.

Sebastien won the match and is now 3-0 in the tournament.
